LA has its Hollywood palm trees and gorgeous beaches, making it one of the coolest and truly funnest cities for pets. With the incredibly popular food truck love - especially in cities like Venice Beach, Downtown LA and Silver Lake - Milo’s Kitchen decided to head out to the city of angels with their delicious treats. PR Hacker was there for the ride.
One of PR Hacker’s strategies was to create a story around the tour – by building strategic context around the great event. In this case, the “bigger story” was the wild popularity of food trucks in Southern California and the nation
The strategy worked great! As a result, the truck was “tailed” by local media trucks, which included KTLA and KNBC. Reporters from all over the Southland made it out to interview the truck’s tour managers and the hilarious (and tiny!) traveling pups.
The LA truck was exciting to visitors from every neighborhood – from the beaches to the suburbs. It was covered by JackFM, KCBS News Radio, The Family Friendly Morning Show, LA Parent, LA Weekly, the Los Angeles Register, the OC Family Register, the Santa Monica Daily Press, and many more.
