After a lovely drive along PCH, the Milo’s Kitchen treat truck headed to San Diego, to promote their special treats to local water-loving surf-doggies and their totally awesome families.
San Diego is also a major college town, and many students from UC San Diego and San Diego State U. came out to have fun with their pets. The pitch was developed by PR Hacker to explicitly target local publications so that the entire San Diego student community was included and invited. This is how PR Hacker is able to engage many more media verticals — by creating new stories that cater to new and exciting topics.
The Treat Truck stopped at the 6th Annual Doggie Treat Festival, filled with fun, food and games for the entire family.
The doggie treats caused such a stir, that visitors included most of the local media, including KYXY, San Diego Magazine, San Diego Union Tribune, KGTV (ABC), CBS News 8, and Fox 5 San Diego, just to name a few.
